If everything goes fine probably I'll buy second stick next month.

I've checked all of the Gigabyte MB files and they are not zip files but are in fact executables. There is currently an additional GB hard drive in my computer that serves as sort of a utility drive. How gigabyre are you with this response?
Then after installing my Bios set frequency to as default. Seeing as someone's helped me before on a different thread, ill return the favour User's post on August 28, Gigabyte UK Price as Reviewed: This is a chkpset motherboard!

System stability tests passed. This item may or may not be in original packaging.
I think that restriction on those and other files is a Microsoft Security policy. Best Selling in Motherboards See all. Still managed to benchmark one stick with overclocked CPU. Who says a Core i7 system has to ba-x58a-ud3r large?
Never hurts to run the windows update afterwards. Ordinarily, I'd simply insert the CD that came with the MB and let it scan and install the appropriate drivers.

Couple of minutes OS running nicely, and I was tempted to go further And later second one if it will work properly. Chpiset can power the system down after I'm done, but I was hoping for an auto power savings while I'm not home.

Got stable on these stettings: In reply to BugSter's post on September 17, Or the USB ports were 1. I also don't allow any automatic updates to be installed, I let them be listed and choose what I want to be installed.

Previously known as Gulftown, the Core iX Extreme Edition is not only brutally fast out of the box but also a fantastic overclocker thanks to its 32nm transistors. But since I'd never seen anyone comment about it on these forums, I assumed the USB ports would be functioning, though I could never quite understand why.
Many Gigaybte connections, very good performance, excellent reliability and easy to install. That way I'll ga-x58a-ud3e able to see some of the problems I might encounter with MB driver upgrades and those darn Windows Updates.

If I find I can't load and update the drivers in the manner described above, can I at anytime after the cjipset drivers are loaded from the CD just go ahead and install the updated drivers over top of the already existing drivers using Gigabyte's online Download Center? I would only trust Windows 7 and beyond to have decent somewhat up to date versions of these preinstall drivers.
Is the x58 chipset that I suspect is the problem that is causing the "critical component" note from Get Windows? Since drivers can affect the performance and functioning of hardware, why would I want less than optimal performance while installing the endless Windows updates?
